Trump administration plans to ‘revisit’ the U.S. ban on industrial barstools

President Donald Trump on Wednesday is expected to announce a new federal ban on barstool products that are made with cornstarch.

The announcement will come as the administration ramps up efforts to curb childhood obesity, with Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency launching a new website to track the use of “corrosive detergents” in water, the AP reported.

The EPA said it is asking for comments on whether to expand the definition of the term “corroster” to include industrial barrestools made with industrial cornstalk.

The EPA has also sought comment on the potential for the agency to expand its definition of industrial barstands.

The White House has said it will not use the term industrial bar stool.

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has also warned against the use and abuse of industrial corn starch, saying it is a form of chemical pollution.
